The Poet in deep and calm thought

One of my heroes, Rodin, began work on the original Thinker (originally called The Poet) around 1880-1881 in Paris. I painted mine in Koh Samui, Thailand.

Unlike many surrealists, who present their dreams, my work centres on people and bold colours. It opens up new dimensions of art to explore. My subject matter is people, but my real passion is colour and how its arrangement can create a different emotional experience.
